Child Safety Standards

Last Updated: April 10, 2026

1. Scope

These Child Safety Standards apply to the SayHelo app, the SayHelo website, and related SayHelo services developed and operated by Uptech Africa Ltd, including the Google Play listing for SayHelo.

SayHelo is an adults-only platform. You must be at least 18 years old to create an account or use the service.

2. Zero Tolerance for CSAE and CSAM

SayHelo explicitly prohibits child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) and child sexual abuse material (CSAM). No user may use SayHelo to create, upload, store, request, solicit, share, promote, distribute, or engage with content or behavior that exploits, sexualizes, or endangers children.

  • Any sexual or nude content involving a minor, whether real, manipulated, or implied
  • Child grooming, predatory behavior, or attempts to exploit a minor on or off platform
  • Sexualized comments, requests, roleplay, or solicitation involving minors
  • Sextortion, coercion, threats, or blackmail involving a child or a child's images
  • Trafficking, commercial sexual exploitation, or facilitation of abuse involving a minor
  • Any content or conduct that helps another person exploit or abuse a child

3. Reporting and Enforcement

SayHelo provides in-app tools for users to block and report profiles, messages, and other conduct that may violate our rules.

When SayHelo obtains actual knowledge of suspected CSAM, CSAE, or other child endangerment, we may remove the content, restrict or terminate accounts, preserve relevant information as required, and escalate the matter for review.

Where required by applicable law, SayHelo will report confirmed CSAM to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) or the relevant regional authority, and we will cooperate with lawful requests from law enforcement.

4. Underage Accounts

Accounts belonging to users under 18, or accounts suspected of misrepresenting age to interact with minors, may be suspended or removed immediately.

If you believe a user is underage or is using SayHelo to target minors, report the account through the app or contact our child safety point of contact below.

6. Proactive Safety Measures

To ensure our community remains adults-only and safe, Uptech Africa Ltd has implemented advanced technical safeguards:

  • Didit AI-Powered Verification: We utilize biometric face matching and government ID verification to confirm the age of our users.
  • Mandatory Age Verification: Users may be required to complete face and ID verification before accessing the full features of the app.
  • Automated Screening: We use automated tools to detect and block content that violates our child safety policies in real-time.

5. Child Safety Point of Contact

SayHelo has a designated point of contact for child safety notifications, including notices from Google Play regarding CSAE or CSAM concerns.
